OVEN TYPE DESCRIPTION
Phoenix DryRod® Flux Ovens are designed to serve their
users with long and faithful service. They will hold granulat-
ed and agglomerated flux and protect it from moisture pick
up as long as in operation.
Wiring
Check type and voltage on nameplate.
1. Type 100FX Model 4 (120 volts AC only) single phase.
2. Type 100FX Model 6 (240 volts AC only) single phase.
Grounding
1. The 120 volt ovens have a three blade plug cap with
grounding prong (NEMA 5-15P) attached to a 10 foot power
supply cord. When used with a grounded receptacle, these
ovens meet all local electrical code requirements.
2. The 240 volt ovens have a 10 foot power supply cord.
When used with a grounding plug cap and a grounded
receptacle, these ovens meet all local code requirements.
Flux Placement
Type 100FX ovens can be loaded using filled pails for ease
in unloading. If preferred, bulk flux can be directly loaded
into the oven. This oven will hold four (4) 25# capacity pails
or 150 lbs. of bulk flux.
Guide to Storage
In the absence of detailed storage information from your
electrode manufacturer, the "Revised Guide To Electrode
Storage" (available from Phoenix International, Inc.) may be
used as an indication of approximate temperatures. For
Specific information involving critical operations be sure to
contact your electrode/flux manufacturer for complete infor-
mation.
