Issue: LED Ethernet indicators not on
Reason: Possible network switch port is not live/active
Action: Verify connection by plugging laptop or other
device in to check network activity (blinky LEDs)
Solution: Have network tech confirm/activate jack
Reason: Possible broken network cable
Action: Test cable from data drop
Solution: Fix or replace cable
Activity
Issue: Gateway does not connect to platform
Reason: Possible that the network switch is not providing internet activity to reach cloud platform
Refer to LED Status Indicator table on page 5 to see which port is not connected.
Action: Plug in laptop or device to access the internet
Solution: Network technician resolves
Reason: Possible that outbound HTTPS (Port 443) or MQTT (Port 8883) is blocked
Action: Network technician confirms
Solution: Network technician resolves
