Troubleshooting
Problem
Low heat / Low flame.
Excessive flare-ups/

Possible Causes Solution
Improper Allow charcoal to burn until covered with a

Grease build This is not a defect. The finish on the lid and
up on inside hood is stainless steel, and will not peel. The
surfaces. peeling is caused by hardened grease, which
dries into paint-like shards that will flake
off. Regular cleaning will prevent this. See
cleaning instructions.
