Installation and regulation of power tool
elements
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Do not draw up the fastening elements
too tight to avoid damaging the thread.
Mounting / dismounting / setting-up of
some elements is the same for all power
tool models, in this case specific models
are not indicated in the illustration.
Installing / replacing accessories (see fig. 1)
After prolonged operation, the router bit
can become very hot, remove it using
gloves. This will also reduce the risk of
injury by the cutting edge.
• Before installing / replacing the router bit, it is
recommended (but not required) to remove the edge
trimmer 1 from the base plate 2, 3 or 4, as described
below
• Turn the power tool upside down
• Press the spindle lock 9 and after making sure that
spindle 28 is locked, keep spindle lock 9 in a pressed
position (see fig. 1.1).
• Release nut 10 using the wrench 25 (see fig. 1.2).
• Install / replace the router bit (or collet 24 or 27, if
required); keep in mind that the shank of the router
bit should be inserted into the collet 24 or 27 by at
least 20 mm (see fig. 1.3). The shank of the router bit
diameter should correspond to the inner diameter of
the collet 24 or 27
• Tighten nut 10 using the wrench 25 Note: never
tighten nut 10 without the router bit - this can damage
collet 24 or 27
• After all the operations have been completed, re-
lease spindle lock 9
Installation of the power tool on the base plate (see
fig. 2)
• Open the latch 11, as shown in figure 2.1.
• Install the edge trimmer 1 on the base plate 2, 3 or 4
(see fig. 2.2). When installing the edge trimmer 1 on
the base plate 2 or 3, make sure that the teeth of the
base plate gear wheel fall into the hollows on the
power tool body.
• Close the latch 11, as shown in figure 2.3.
Assembling / dismantling of dust extractor con-
necting adaptor (see fig. 3)
Use the dust extractor connecting adaptor 23 only
with the base plate 2.
• Install the dust extractor connecting adaptor 23 on
the base plate 2, as shown in figure 3. Make sure that
latch of the dust extractor connecting adaptor 23 fall into
the hollow of the base plate 2
• Lock the position of adaptor 23, screwing in the set
screw 18 (see fig. 3).
• Connect a vacuum cleaner that can remove dust
generated by the material to be processed to the dust
extractor connecting adaptor 23 (use a suitable adapt-
er, if necessary)
• Disassembly operations do in reverse sequence
Installation / adjustment / dismantling of the guide
with a roller (see fig. 4-5)
The guide 22 is used for milling edges with router bits
which do not have support bearings at the end Use
the guide 22 only with the base plate 2
• Install the guide 22 on the base plate 2 and fix it with
the setscrew 19 (see fig. 4).
• You can adjust a vertical position of the guide 22
depending on the router bit used and the thickness of
the workpiece (see fig. 5.1):
• loose the setscrew 19;
• move the guide 22 up or down;
• tighten the setscrew 19
• You can adjust a horizontal position of the guide 22 to
define the thickness of material removal (see fig. 5.2):
• loose the fixing screw 29;
• rotate the lead screw 30 to move the holder 31 to
set the thickness of material removal (distance "a");
• tighten the fixing screw 29
• Disassembly operations do in reverse sequence
Installation / adjustment / dismantling of the paral-
lel guide (see fig. 6-9)
Parallel guide 20 enables milling along the straight
line side surface of the workpiece Use the parallel
guide 20 only with the base plate 2 or 4
