• If the locking lever 16 is in its lower position,
move it upward (see fig. 14.1) in order to ensure the
displacement of the power tool housing
• Lower the power tool body so that the router bit end
touches the workpiece surface, and move locking le-
ver 16 down to fix the position of the power tool body
(see fig. 14.2-14.3).
• Loosen the retainer 45 (see fig. 15.1, 16.1). Now you
can move the milling depth stop 43 by rotating it (precise
movement) To ensure quick movement of the milling
depth stop 43, press and hold the retainer 45, move the
milling depth stop 43 up or down (see fig. 15.2).
• Move the milling depth stop 43 so that its end
touches the surface of the bolt of stepped stop 46
(see fig. 16.2). As a result, you have locked the "zero
position"
• Move pointer 44 to the "0" mark of scale 42 (see
fig. 16.2).
• To set the milling depth, move the milling depth
stop 43 upwards, using the marking of the scale 42 as
a guide, then tighten the retainer 45 to fix the milling
depth (see fig. 17.1-17.2). Now, when the end of the
milling depth stop 43 touches the bolt of the stepped
stop 46, the specified milling depth will be reached
(distance "b", see fig. 17.3). If necessary, you can
achieve the required milling depth in several passes;
for this purpose, rotate the stepped stop 46 so that
the end of the milling depth stop 43 alternately rests
against longer bolts of the stepped stop 46
• To adjust the milling depth more accurately, use the
scale 41
• When work is finished, move the locking lever 16
upward and gently lift the housing to its highest position,
holding both handles 15 of the power tool
Milling direction
Milling should always be performed against
the router bit rotation direction Otherwise,
the power tool will be subject to jerks, which
may result in the loss of control over it
General operational recommendations
• Mark out and fix the treated workpiece.
• Set the required milling depth, as described above
• When using the guide 22 or the parallel guide 20,
adjust them as described above
• Turn on the power tool
• Mill with uniform flow holding the power tool firmly
and following recommendations regarding the direc-
tion of milling Do not push excessively - it takes some
time to complete the process Excessive force will not
speed up the work process, but it will overload the
power tool
• Turn the power tool off
Guide with a roller (see fig. 18)
The guide 22 is used for milling edges with milling
cutters which do not have support bearings at the end
The manufacturer reserves the possibility to introduce changes.
Milling along the curved side surface is allowed (see
fig. 18.2).
• Install the guide 22 onto base plate 2 and adjust its
position as described above
• Mill by pressing the roller 32 against the side surface
of the workpiece (see fig. 18.2).
Parallel guide (see fig. 19-20)
Parallel guide 20 enables milling along the straight line
side surface of the workpiece
• Install the parallel guide 20 on the base plate 2 or 4,
and adjust its position as described above
• Set the space from the work piece brim by adjusting
the parallel guide 20, as described above
• Perform the milling operation by pressing paral-
lel guide 20 to the side surface of the workpiece (see
fig. 19.2-20.2).
Power tool maintenance / preventive
measures
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Cleaning of the power tool
An indispensable condition for a safe long-term exploi-
tation of the power tool is to keep it clean Regularly
flush the power tool with compressed air thought the
ventilation slots 6
After-sales service and application service
Our after-sales service responds to your questions
concerning maintenance and repair of your product as
well as spare parts Information about service centers,
parts diagrams and information about spare parts can
also be found under: www.crown-tools.com
Transportation of the power tools
• Categorically not to drop any mechanical impact on
the packaging during transport
• When unloading / loading is not allowed to use any
kind of technology that works on the principle of clamp-
ing packaging

Environmental protection

Recycle raw materials instead of dispos-
ing as waste.
Power tool, accessories and packaging
should be sorted for environment - friendly
recycling
The plastic components are labelled for categorized
recycling
These instructions are printed on recycled paper man-
ufactured without chlorine
