7. Maintenance
The MATRIX AIR door fitting is maintenance-free. The batteries should be replaced on a
regular basis to ensure proper operation.
Battery warning
A dropping battery power will be indicated via the optical fiber ring. The warning takes place
in levels (see table in chapter 6. Operation).
Replace the battery as soon as the
battery warning is indicated.
Inserting/replacing batteries
In case of the MATRIX AIR door fitting, the batteries can be found inside the door handle.
- Use only brand-new unused batteries of type Energizer L91-FR6!
- Use the battery only as intended and for the corresponding DORMA product!
- Keep it out of the reach of children!
Replace the battery within 1 minute. Otherwise, the fitting has to be re-initialized via
XS-Manager (see chapter 5).
Warning – Risk of strong heat development, explosion and fire
Improper handling (e.g. overheating, destruction, recharging, use of the battery in
other products) may result in heat development, explosion and fire. There is the risk
of injuries.
