When using a guest laptop, connecting your laptop to a power outlet is optional.

To connect a laptop to the guest laptop connection location
1. Connect the USB cable to a USB connector on the laptop.
2. Connect the VGA cable connector to the laptop.
3. Turn on the laptop.
4. Press the RGB/HV button on the infrared remote control
