Cleaning should only be done with a soft brush, such as the brush supplied
with the product.
Do not rinse under water.
Do not use harsh or corrosive cleaners on the units or their blades.

BATTERY REMOVAL

The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
The appliance must be disconnected from the supply mains when removing
the battery.
Ensure that the clipper is discharged of all power and disconnected from
the mains
Hold the clipper in one hand so that the blades are at the top, place your
thumb underneath the blades and press upwards, the blade set will detach
from the clipper.
Using a screwdriver remove 2 screws from front of the clipper and remove
the front housing.
Hold the rear of clipper in one hand and hold the short length selection
dial in another hand, rotating the short length selection dial left and right,
pull the dial out.
Using a small screwdriver, remove 4 screws from inner housing.
Lift or pry the clipper halves apart, exposing the battery and printed circuit
board.
Cut the tabs on both ends of batteries and remove from the clipper.
, CAUTION: Do not put in fire or mutilate your battery packs as they may
burst or release toxic materials.

To avoid environmental and health problems due to hazardous
substances in electrical and electronic goods, appliances marked with
this symbol must not be disposed of with unsorted municipal waste,
but recovered, reused or recycled.
