To manually assign the valve in a network installation, follow these steps:
1 . Navigate to the Valve Setup menu
2 . Press the ■ ENTER button to select "Valve Assignment"
3 . Press ■ OK to reassign the valve . Alternatively, the ■ CANCEL button can be pressed to exit the menu .
4 . If more than one valve is connected to the network, a list of serial numbers will be displayed . Use the
and
GREEN buttons to scroll through the list until the desired valve serial number is highlighted . Then press
the ■ SET button to assign the selected valve .
5 . The controller will re-start and is now assigned to the new valve .
Valve Name:
The Valve Name menu has options for identifying a valve by a name, as well as a number and a color . The name, number
and color are all optional . If set, they will be displayed in a bar across the top of the screen during normal operation . The
number can be selected if there are multiple valves with the same name; for example, Crosslay 1, Crosslay 2, etc . The
name, number and color can also all be cleared so that nothing is displayed across the top of the display (this is the fac-
tory default) .
To configure the Valve name, number and color, follow these steps:
1 . Navigate to the Valve Setup menu
2 . Use the
RED or
3 . Press the ■ ENTER button to select "Valve Name"

4 . Use the
assigned valve . In no name is desired, select "None ."
5 . Press ■ SET to assign the name
6 . After the name is set, the Valve Number field will now be highlighted . Use the
select the desired number . If no number is desired, select "None ."
7 . Press ■ SET to assign the number
8 . After the number is set, the available Valve Colors will be shown . Use the
select the desired color . If no color is desired, select "White ."
9 . Press ■ SET to assign the color .
Valve Calibration:
When the valve is first installed, calibration must be completed to ensure accurate position sensor feedback to the sys-
tem . This is only necessary at installation or if a new motor driver, actuator or valve is installed .
****WARNING****
The valve will cycle open and closed during the calibration process . Be sure the system is not pressurized and the valve
can be cycled open and closed safely before proceeding with valve calibration .
To calibrate the valve, follow these steps:
1 . Navigate to the Valve Setup menu
RED or GREEN button to scroll through the list until the "Valve Calibration" is highlighted
2 . Use the
3 . Press the ■ ENTER button to select Valve Calibration
4 . Press the ■ START button to start the calibration process .
****WARNING****
The valve will cycle open and closed several times during the calibration process after the ■ START button is pressed .
5 . When the calibration is complete, press the
Valve Options:
The valve options menu allows the user to change the following values:
• Turn the Auto Open on or off . The valve can be set to open from closed to fully open by pressing the open
button once instead of having to hold it down . If enabled, the valve will only auto-open if the valve is fully
closed . Once it is partially opened, it won't auto-open again until it is closed .
To adjust these settings, follow these steps:
1 . Navigate to the Valve Setup menu
2 . Use the
RED or
3 . Press the ■ ENTER button to select Valve Options
4 . Now the "Auto Open" field will be highlighted . Use the
ENABLED to activate auto open . Press the ■ SET button to save the value . If you do not wish to change this,
press the ■ DONE button to exit the valve options menu .
GREEN button to scroll through the list until the "Valve Name" is highlighted
GREEN button to scroll through the list and highlight the desired pre-loaded name for the
GREEN button to scroll through the list until the "Valve Options" is highlighted
OK button to complete the process .
