The stove is delivered on a pallet inside a cardboard box.
First of all, remove the stove from its packaging, check
that the model is the one ordered, and make sure it has not
been damaged during transportation. Any complaints must
be made to the carrier (in writing on the accompanying
consignment note) upon receipt. Refer to the local regulations
in the country of use for assemby and anything else
not expressly shown. In Italy, refer to standard UNI
10683/2012, along with any regional or local health authority
regulations. If the stove is to be installed in a condominium,
consult the administration before installing.
COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER DEVICES
According to the regulation UNI 10683/2012, the stove must
NOT be installed in the same room as extractors, type B
gas equipment or any device creating vacuum conditions.
Warning: extraction fans operating in the same room
can cause problems.
AIR INTAKE
The room of installation must have a suitable outside air
intake with a through surface area of at least 200 cm² (Ø
16), in order to replenish the burnt oxygen and ensure an
adequate combustion air fl ow.
It is possible to convey air taken from outside along a Ø 8 cm
pipe to be fi tted directly to the back of the stove.
To connect the pipe to the stove, remove the pre-cut plug (A -
Illustr. 5) and fasten the outside air intake pipe."

INSTALLATION
SAFETY DISTANCES
Place the stove away from fl ammable materials and objects;
leave a distance of 80 cm from furniture and at least 10 cm
from the wall.
These distances are for furniture or walls which are either fi re-
proof or able to withstand being raised to an environmental
temperature of 80°C without overheating to the point of
catching fi re.
The air circulation which is created around the stove thanks
to these distances ensures effi cient ventilation and improves
thermal effi ciency.
- In the event the stove is to be installed on a fl oor made with
a fl ammable material, we recommend placing it on a steel
plate available as an optional.
EDILKAMIN declines any responsibility for installations not
complying with the laws in force and for misuse of the stove.
FIRE DAMPERS
the smoke channel)
The damper must be easy to manoeuvre and its position must
be easily visible.
The damper must remain fi xed in the preset position and must
not be able to close automatically.
The smoke damper must NOT fully close the fl ue pipe but must
always ensure a minimum opening equal to 3% of the cross-
section of the pipe, and in any case at least equal to 20 cm².
The stove is already equipped with its own combustion
adjustment control that would make use of the damper redun-
dant, with the exclusion of cases in which the draw from the
chimney is greater than 30 Pa (0.3 mbar).
However the damper may close the smoke duct whilst the fi re-
box is being cleaned and when the stove is not in use, preven-
ting the return of air from the chimney into the room.
THERMOSTATIC VALVE (optional)
Equipment used to adjust combustion automatically using a
temperature probe.
This makes it possible to only consume the amount of wood
needed to reach the desired level of thermal comfort, preven-
ting unnecessary wastage.
