When you operate the speed controller for the first time, the under-
voltage protection (Cut-Off) is switched off as it depends on the type
of battery used. The undervoltage protection is only activated after
the battery type has been selected:

Two-cell or three-cell LiPo:
LED flashes when the battery voltage of
3.0 V per cell is reached or undershot.
The engine continues to run, but only on
half power.
Discontinue using the vehicle and charge
the battery.
