1. Installation
CAUTION: Risk of hazardous gases. If the new toilet is not
installed immediately, temporarily place a rag in the closet
flange.
Remove the Existing Bowl
Turn off the water supply.
Flush the toilet.
Sponge out all remaining water from the tank.
Disconnect the flush valve.
Remove the caps, washers, fiber washers, toilet and gasket from
the closet flange.
Install the New Bowl
Install the carrier per the manufacturer's instructions.
Mount the toilet per the carrier manufacturer's instructions.
Apply the gasket to the toilet outlet. Refer to the gasket
manufacturer's instructions for installation.
NOTE: All-wax gaskets are not appropriate for this installation.
Install the flush valve. Refer to the flush valve manufacturer's
instructions.
