The egg timer:
The "egg timer" can be activated by pressing the <Timer sensor key> once, irrespective of whether the
heating zone has been switched on or not.
The "00" display and the illuminated LED lamp to the right of the LED timer display indicate that the egg
timer is ready for setting.
Setting and starting the egg timer:
The operating time of the egg timer can be set by pressing the / sensor keys.
After the sensor keys have been pressed for the last time, the egg timer begins to count down the time.
The egg timer is not stopped by switching off the laboratory hot plate. It continues to count down the time.
The remaining time is shown in the timer display, until it has expired, when an acoustic signal is emitted.
To switch off the acoustic signal, just press any sensor key.
The heating zone timer:
The heating zone timer can only be set when the heating zone is switched on (any heat intensity between
1 and 9 must be set). The heating zone timer is activated by pressing the timer sensor key twice. The "00"
appearing in the LED timer display, the illuminated LED lamp to the right of the LED timer display and the
flashing LED lamp to the left of the LED timer display indicate that the heating zone timer is ready for
setting.
Setting and starting the heating zone timer:
The timer setting for the heating zone can now be set by pressing the / sensor keys.
The LED lamp to the left of the LED timer display indicates that the heating zone timer is ready for setting.
After the sensor keys have been pressed for the last time, the left-hand LED lamp will start to flash and
the timer display will show the remaining operating time of the heating zone timer, until it has expired,
when an acoustic signal is emitted. To switch off the acoustic signal, just press any sensor key.
To display and delete timer operating times
The remaining operating time of the heating zone timer is always displayed when the heating zone is
switched on. If no heating zone is switched on, any remaining time set in the egg timer is displayed.
If the timer sensor key is touched, the remaining operating times for the heating zone timer or for the egg
timer can be displayed alternately.
The respective modes are displayed by various combinations of the two LED lamps to the left and to the
right of the timer display:
When the LED lamps on the left and right light up continuously, the remaining operating time for the egg
timer is shown in the timer display.
When the LED lamp on the left flashes and the LED lamp on the right lights up continuously, the
remaining operating time for the heating zone timer is shown in the timer display.
To immediately delete the heating zone timer, set the heat intensity at 0 or switch off the control system
with the On / Off sensor.
The "egg timer" is not deleted by switching off, it will continue to run in the background until the time has
expired or it is manually deleted.
To delete settings in the heating zone timer or egg timer in operating mode, the heating zone timer or egg
timer must first be selected with the <Timer key>.
Then the respective timer can be set to 00 by pressing the / sensor keys.
