Replacing the starter:
Carry out steps 1 – 3 as described above.

Release the starter by turning it anti-clockwise (1)

(< ¼ turn), then pull it up and out (2).
Insert the new starter by following these steps in

reverse order.
Before screwing shut the unit, ensure that the re-

taining clips are again sitting firmly against the tu-
bes and that you have not left any objects (such
as packaging material, plastic foil, etc.) in the unit.
Please use only the tubes and starter listed in the
technical specifications!

Cleaning and care of the unit

The unit should be cleaned occasionally.
Important
Before you clean the unit, always switch
it off, unplug it and let it cool off.
Clean using a damp cloth, to which you
can apply a little detergent if necessary.
Do not use abrasive detergents and ne-
ver immerse the unit in water.
Important
• Ensure that no water penetrates inside
the unit!
• Do not wash the unit in a washing ma-
chine!
• Do not touch the unit with wet hands
while it is plugged in; do not allow any
water to be sprayed onto the unit. The
unit must be operated only when it is
completely dry.
