displays and alarms during opEration
The signal sounds will be heard only if the motor is connected to the speed
controller!
>
As long as the accelerator/brake lever is in the neutral setting, neither the red nor the green
LED will blink.
>
The red LED blinks during forward and reverse drive.
>
The red LED blinks when the model is braked.
>
The green LED blinks if the accelerator/brake lever is at the front or rear end point.
>
Two signal sounds in quick succession, with repetitions at 1 second intervals indicate that the
input voltage is too low.
>
Individual signal sounds at intervals of 2 seconds indicate a missing input signal.

LiPo batteries
The speed controller automatically „detects" the number of cells of the connected LiPo batte-
ry.
If the voltage for the LiPo battery drops below the programmed threshold value for more than
2 seconds, the speed controller will turn off the power supply to the motor.
As long as the voltage of each individual cell of the LiPo battery is below 3.5V, the
speed controller cannot be restarted!
NiMH batteries
If the voltage of the NiMH battery is between 9.0V and 12V, the speed controller will treat the
NiMH battery like a 3-cell LiPo battery.
If the voltage is below 9.0V, the battery will be treated like a 2-cell LiPo battery.
Example:
If the output voltage of the NiMH battery is at 8.0V, the speed controller will "detect" a 2-cell
LiPo battery. If a threshold value of 2.6V/cell has been programmed, the interrupting voltage
will be:
2 (2 cells) x 2.6V (threshold value) = 5.2V!
