PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Minimix vacuum mixer mixes all types of plaster,
investment material and silicones extremely well.
This unit is built robustly. The powerful vacuum
pump builds up a high level of vacuum very rapidly,
which holds the mixing vessel in place automati-
cally so that no extra catch is needed.
Although this unit is very easily operated, it still
meets all the basic requirements demanded of a
modern vacuum mixer.
The integral electronic timer is used for setting the
mixing time and starting mixing – a beeper indicates
that mixing has been completed. The vacuum holds
the mixing vessel in place and is maintained until
the mixer is switched off - this prevents air bubbles
forming in the material after mixing and produces
a homogeneous mix for perfect processing.
5 different sizes of mixing vessel are available, which
helps economize on the amount of material mixed.
The standard version of this unit is wall-mounted.
A firm stand is available as an optional extra.
INSTALLATION
After unpacking the unit, please check it immedi-
ately for possible damage incurred during transit.
Should the unit have been damaged during transit,
please complain to your supplier immediately.
Although this unit is supplied ready for use, always
check the voltage setting (100/115/230V) immedi-
ately above the power socket. If you are not certain
which voltage is used in your country, please ask
your local supplier of electrical appliances.
FITTING TO THE STAND
The optional stand consists of a firm, heavy plate
with back plate. The stand is screwed to the bottom
of the Minimix using the screws supplied with it.
The mixer is then ready for use.
FITTING TO A WALL
A template is supplied with the unit for drilling the
holes in the wall quickly and exactly. Please ensure
that the holes are aligned exactly horizontally
(check with a spirit level if necessary). Press the
rawplugs into the holes. Screw in the screws to
within 5-6 mm before hanging up the unit.
Caution: When fixing the mixer to plasterboard
walls, special rawplugs must be used to support
its weight!
HANDLING
The Minimix is switched on with the On/off switch
on the bottom of the unit. This mixer has an On/Off
switch for vacuum (1), vacuum gauge (2) and timer
(3) on its front panel. The mixing paddles are
operated with the Start button (4) on the timer.
SETTING THE MIXING TIME
The desired mixing time is set with the mixing
time button. It remains stored until a new mixing
time is programmed. (A)
MIXING
Select the correct size of mixing vessel and prepare
the required amount of plaster or investment
material. Mix gently by hand, wipe the top edge
of the mixing vessel clean and put the lid on.
Please note: Never start mixing without having
a mixing bowl in position!
Press the button (1) to switch the vacuum pump
on and place the mixing vessel on the suction
nozzle from beneath. (B)
After only a few seconds, the vacuum holds the
mixing vessel on the suction nozzle. Wait until the
vacuum gauge is in the green zone and press the
Start button (4). A beeper sounds once mixing has
been completed. The vacuum cannot be switched
