On vacation
• When you want to leave for vacation, you had better to make the refrigerator operate
continuously and leave foods that can be stored for a short time. If you want to stop
the refrigerator, remove all foods, disconnect the power plug, clean the inside of
refrigerator fully, and open the door to avoid producing abnormal odors.
• When leaving for vacation, it is suggested to turn off the ice maker switch, empty
the ice storage box, close the water valve, and stop using the ice maker function.
At power failure
• Generally, short-term power failure will not affect the temperature of the
refrigerator sharply. However, if power failure lasts for a long time, you shall
reduce the opening frequency of refrigerator, and shall not put fresh foods into the
refrigerator (prevent rise in the temperature of refrigerator from speeding up).
• If you know power failure is coming, you can turn on the "Super Frz." function in
advance to keep the temperature of refrigerator to the lowest value.
• When power failure lasts for a long time, you need to take out the ice storage box
and discard to prevent ice cubes from melting into water that will flow into other
parts of the freezing chamber.
Water filter
The water filter aims at the particles in water, other than bacteria or microorganisms.
Note: The disposable filter cartridge MUST be replaces every 6 months.
1 Before replacing the filter, you must disconnect the power plug of refrigerator or
turn off the main power switch, and cut off the water source.
2 Unscrew and take down the filter according to the arrow indication on the filter;
3 Insert the new filter, and tighten;
4 After replacing the filter, take some water from the ice and water dispenser to
remove air from the water system;
5 Discard the waste filter directly into a garbage can.
