Antifrost mode
The Antifrost mode enables the heating element of the electronic control when the room tem-
perature drops below a specific threshold (please refer to the thermostat user manual).
It is recommended to use this mode when the room is not occupied for several days.

MODE key until this mode is selected.

Boost 2h mode
The Boost 2h mode can be used to heat quickly the room.
• To enable the function, press the relative
temperature may never exceed 30°C, and so a safety control mechanism prevents this happen-
ing. When the time expires, the control goes back to the operating mode set before going into
boost mode for 2 hours. The user can exit this mode by pressing the

Fil-pilote
Only for units that have this mode.
In PILOT WIRE mode the unit is controlled by a signal from a dedicated control unit, that sets for
operating mode for all the connected thermostats. The only input required in this mode is the
required COMFORT temperature, which is set by pushing the [+] and [-] keys.
In this mode one of 6 different signals may be detected, which correspond to the same number
of operating modes:
1.
STANDBY: the heating element remains switched off, but the thermostat is kept switched on.
2.
COMFORT: the COMFORT temperature set by the user, is kept constant in the room, by
switching the heating element on and off in an intelligent manner.
3.
ECO: a temperature is maintained that is always 3,5°C lower than the COMFORT temperature.
4.
ANTI-FREEZE: the ambient temperature is always kept above 7°C to avoid freezing.
5.
COMFORT-1: the ambient temperature is kept 1°C lower than the COMFORT temperature.
6.
COMFORT-2: the ambient temperature is kept 2°C lower than the COMFORT temperature.
How is PILOT WIRE mode activated?
