Overview
This document provides instructions for wiring and post-installation verification of a StorEdge system with the following
components:
StorEdge Three Phase Inverter with SetApp Configuration
Energy Meter
48V battery
For more details and additional system configurations, refer to the StorEdge Inverter Installation Guide supplied with the
StorEdge Inverter.
CAUTION!
For proper battery performance, the battery must remain connected to the StorEdge inverter and in charging
mode. Extended battery disconnection may result in deep discharge and damage the battery.
Wiring the System
Connecting the AC Grid
Use a five-wire cable. The maximum wire size for
the input terminal blocks is 4 mm².
1.
Turn OFF the AC circuit breaker.
2.
Open the AC grand and insert the AC cable through the
gland.
3.
Pass the AC cable through the tunnel.
4.
Thread the AC cable through two ferrite beads supplied with
the inverter: one 48 mm and one 39 mm.
5.
Connect the AC cable to the AC terminals. Connect the PE
(grounding) wire first.
6.
Tighten the terminal block screws with a torque of
1.2-1.5 N*m / 0.88-1.1 lb*ft.
