• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon
as possible to prevent damage caused by a leaking battery.
• Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and glasses when handling
leaked batteries.

6. Getting started
• Remove the stand by carefully pulling it downwards.
• Open the battery compartment by turning the lid with a coin counter-
clockwise. Remove the insulation strip.
• Close the battery compartment again.
• All LCD segments will light up for about a few seconds.
• The unit is now ready to use.
• The upper display shows the time and the comfort level, the middle dis-
play shows the current temperature and the lower display the relative
humidity.
