1 Put the appliance plug in the shaver.
2 Put the powerplug in the wall socket.
Do not recharge the shaver in a closed pouch or
cassette.
3 When charging for the first time or after a
long period of disuse: leave the shaver to
charge continuously for 12 hours.
Charging normally takes approx. 8 hours.
A fully charged shaver has a cordless shaving time
of up to 25 minutes.
4 To extend the lifetime of the batteries,
remove the powerplug from the wall
socket and pull the appliance plug out of
the shaver when the batteries have been
fully charged.
The shaver does not work if it is connected to
the mains.

Inserting cartridges

The cartridges with moisturising NIVEA FOR
MEN shaving emulsion are available in boxes
containing five cartridges and one small plastic
pump. Do not throw the pump away: you will
need it for all five cartridges!
Use only Philishave NIVEA FOR MEN Cool Skin
(HQ160 or HQ161) cartridges.
