1. Prior to installing your new J-Rac kayak carrier, be sure your
crossbars are clean and free of debris. Clean crossbars will help
ensure a proper fit and will help keep the kayak carrier from slipping.

2. Unscrew and remove both clamp knobs (G) from bottom of J-Rac (A).
