c. In the same way as the first twist peg, rotate the other two twist pegs at the rear of the tent
into the ground, at the opening of the blue/grey tent tunnels.
d. Now you can place the 3 twist pegs on the front of the tent. Also at the 3 openings of the blue/
grey tent tunnels: First push the tent downwards (in the middle), with little force, in the directi
on that the tent itself wants to go. Now place the first twist peg at the center opening of the
blue/grey tent tunnel; at the outside of the tent, tight against the tent pole. Mark this location
by poking the twist peg into the ground. Afterwards, push the tent (pole set) forward slightly (to
make space to twist the twist peg into the ground) and temporarily fasten it with the metal eye peg.
e. Twist the twist peg straight into the ground, on the place you marked before. Twist the peg into
the ground until there is space of approximately 1½ cm. left between the handle and the
ground, while this handle is positioned perpendicular to the tent pole. Remove the metal eye
peg and pull the tent pole underneath the twist peg.
Then twist the other two twist pegs into the ground. They should be positioned at the two
other open places of the lower tent tunnel.
It may happen that a twist peg is not fitting perfectly (it should fit perfectly to ensure the pole
is set firmly to the ground). If this is the case, remove the twist peg from the ground and try
again, twisting it into the ground a quarter of a turn different again.
f. Ensure that your SunnyTent is completely secured to the ground on both sides, so that wind
cannot come under the tent.
g. You can secure the twist pegs by placing the secure pegs against them, as shown on the instruction
video. This will prevent the twist pegs from turning towards the left (which causes the twist peg
to come upwards a bit). This is especially recommended if you plan to leave the SunnyTent
unattended for prolonged periods of time or in case heavy winds are forecasted.
h. With the six pegs, your tent will be fastened tightly. To open the tent, twist the twist pegs a
quarter to the left and remove the tent poles under it. Open the tent by veering the rope gently.
Your SunnyTent can be closed or opened completely or partially. By attaching the rope to i.e.
the center twist peg, the tent will stay partially opened.
Attention: If you have a size L SunnyTent, and you have opened it completely, you need to
follow the instructions as described at step 5.2 while pulling up the tent. This to prevent serious
damage on your tent.
Attention: the wind can cause major damage to your SunnyTent. Therefore, please read the
manual and safety guidelines carefully.
C. MANUAL
1. Please read the safety guidelines carefully first. Comply with these rules now and in the future.
2. The SunnyTent can only be assembled on locations where the anchors and pegs can be twisted /
hammered into the ground. If you want to place the SunnyTent on a hard surface, you can buy
the special "hard-surface-installation-set".
3. Do not put the SunnyTent on a hard surface, without the special "hard-surface-installation-set".
This prevents wear and tear on the bottom (the outer two tent pole tunnels). The warranty
does not cover this type of damage.
4. Very rarely, the following combination of factors may damage the foil of your SunnyTent:
• Extreme heat and sunshine;
