WIRING THE ICD SYSTEM
1. Prepare the appropriate length of harness wire. From the examples shown in fi gures "Suggested
Wiring Confi guration: Front Suspension Only (Hardtail)", "Suggested Wiring Confi guration: Horizontal
Full Suspension", or "Suggested Wiring Confi gurations: Vertical Full Suspension", refer to the wire
harness confi guration that is best suited for your bike suspension setup.
With the dedicated shock cable guide on the FLOAT iCD rear shock, some routing involves reversal of
the shock wires routing from the shock (see Figure 12: "iCD Shock Reverse Routing Cable Guide"). If
you are using reversed routing, be sure to account for this when choosing wire size, to allow enough
slack in the wire harness.

2. Firmly push the cable connectors into the terminal until you hear a click, which confi rms that you have
made a solid connection.
Caution: Release the air pressure from the shock, and stroke through full travel to make sure the wires are not pinched by
frame linkages, the shock actuator, or frame tubes. Also make sure the shock actuator unit does not interfere with frame
tubes, and the wire lengths are adequate.
Make the cable housing length as short as possible, allowing just enough slack to ensure smooth
operation with safe steering clearances.
Caution: Be sure the cable wire harness does not interfere with normal steering operation and any other hand-operated
devices or controls mounted on your handlebar.
