USING YOUR NEBULIZER
5. Insert the medication cup as shown, Fig 1.
6. Pour the medication into the nebulizer cup following the
physician prescribed dosage, Fig 2. The medication cup
capacity is 7.5mL; overfilling the medication cup will reduce
the nebulization rate.
Note: If your medication dosage volume is 2ml or less, or if
the medication is very dense, the medication should be
diluted with distilled water so that the volume is a
minimum of 4 ml.
7. Replace the clear nebulizer cover, Fig 3.
8. Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet if necessary.
Proper use of the mask or mouthpiece is
important in helping to ensure effective and
efficient medication delivery. Some pieces
require an extension tube (included) for proper
use. An extension tube is flexible and can be
adjusted for a more comfortable position during
treatment.
