CLEANING AND DISINFECTING PROCEDURES
Disinfecting Procedures:
It is recommended that the parts be disinfected monthly if the unit is used on a regular
medication therapy schedule.
1. Remove the clear lid from the nebulizer body.
2. Rinse the mouthpiece, fan, medicine cup and air filter cover in hot water. Mix one part
white vinegar with three parts distilled water, in a volume sufficient to fully immerse the
pieces.
3. Submerge pieces in the vinegar mixture for thirty minutes.
4. Rinse everything thoroughly with water.
5. Allow all pieces to air dry completely, or dry them thoroughly with a clean, soft towel. Do
not store any parts wet as remaining moisture creates a risk of bacterial growth.
Never use soap pads or powder cleanser to clean any part of the unit. Never use any cleaning
products that may be harmful when swallowed or inhaled.
It is recommended that mouthpieces and masks be replaced periodically depending on the
frequency of therapy treatments or when damaged or cracked. To order replacement parts,
