WARNING Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them
for future reference. Your child may risk injury if you do not follow them
closely.
WARNING Do not use the Cocoonababy® if it is not complete if any of
the parts are broken, torn or missing.
WARNING - SUFFOCATION RISK
In order to avoid any risk of suffocation:
Do not use any extra pillows, covers or additional padding.

ONLY use the cover and accessories supplied by the manufacturer.
NEVER place additional padded elements under or next to the
newborn.
Place the Cocoonababy® against the headboard and right up
against one of the sides.
STOP using the Cocoonababy® when baby:
Starts trying to turn over on his own
Is 3 months old
Is too big and his size does not allow the Cocoonababy® to be
installed properly
ALWAYS place the child on his back to sleep in the Cocoonababy®.
WARNING Do not use the Cocoonababy® nest in a Moses basket, a
rocking cradle, or in a stroller Carrycot (1).
WARNING Before using the Cocoonababy® nest in a cot, ensure that
the bed base is in the low position, that the depth with the mattress is
greater than 50 cm and that the surface is flat.
WARNING To avoid the risk of a fall, never place the Cocoonababy® nest
on a raised surface. Should you wish to use it outside your child's cot,
place it on the ground, on a carpet or rug.
WARNING The Cocoonababy® nest can be used until your child is 3
months old from 2.8 kgs/6 lb 3 oz. Closely supervise his behaviour in the
nest. As soon as your child starts trying to roll over or if he tries to change

position in the nest, he could be able to get out of the Cocoonababy®
nest by himself and in so doing fall between the side of the cot or cradle
and the nest. At this time to avoid any risk of suffocation, stop using the
Cocoonababy® nest as your child no longer needs it.
WARNING Be aware of the risk induced by an open flame or all other
heat sources (for example, electric or gas heaters etc.) placed in close
proximity to baby's bedding.
Only use spare parts supplied or approved by the manufacturer.

Instructions for use
How to adjust the Cocoonababy® nest to fit your baby
1- Remove the fitted sheet (2).
2- Lie baby down in the nest on his back with his head placed 5/7cms
down from the top end of the nest (the narrow end is the top) (3).
3- Check the position of the wedge and change it if necessary
so that it is right up against baby's bottom and will stop him
slipping down into the hollow of the nest (3). His legs will be
higher up than his bottom (his body will be in a semi-foetal
position) and his feet will not be able to push against the edge
of the nest. This way he will not be able to hyper extend his body.
We advise that you check the position of the wedge very regularly
as baby will grow quickly and the wedge will need to be moved
further down, towards the bottom of the nest. Remember that his
head should always lie close to the top of the nest.
4- Take baby out of the nest and replace the fitted sheet (4).

Although the Cocoonababy® nest must no longer be used from the
moment the child starts trying to roll over or change position in the
