Please read the operating instructions and familiarise yourself with the device before
placing it in service. Correct and safe use of the system requires strict compliance
with the safety instructions.
For safety reasons children and young people under 16 years of age, as well as
people that cannot recognise potential hazards, or people that are not familiar with
these instructions, may not use this device.
Please keep these operating instructions in a safe place! If the device changes hands,
then please ensure that these instructions accompany the device.

The symbols used on the device and in these operating instructions have the follow-
ing meanings:

Important information!
Protection class II, protection is provided to keep dangerous parts from being touched
with the fingers.
Protection against sprayed water penetration.
Caution! Disconnect the mains plug!
Unpacking
Contact your dealer immediately if the device is damaged or if there are missing parts.
Delivery contents
- Collection container with motor housing and 4 m cable
- 2.5 m discharge hose with integrated blocking flap, sealing plug.
- 5 m suction hose with handle, hose end piece, 5 extension tubes
- Adjustable floor nozzle, joint nozzle, floor nozzle with rubber lip including adapter,
thread algae nozzle,

Prescribed application
The Pondovac 2 is a new-generation sludge vacuum for regular removal of pond sludge.
The sludge vacuum may not be operated unattended.
The Pondovac 2 can be operated as a wet vacuum (in the household for example).

Safety instructions

Power connection
− For your own safety, please contact a qualified electrician for questions and problems.
− Do not operate the device if people are in the water!
− Before reaching into the water always unplug all devices that are located in the water.
− Only operate the device from an outlet that has been installed in accordance with
directives.
− Compare supply voltage (V) and supply frequency (Hz) of your power source with
the data on the nameplate. This data must agree.
− Ensure that the device is protected via a residual current protective circuit with a
rated residual current of maximum 30 mA. Please consult an electrician!
