− Electrical installations for garden ponds must satisfy the national and interna-
tional building determinations.
− Do not carry or pull the device by the connecting cable!
− Keep the power plug and all connecting points dry!
− The device may not be operated if cable or casing are defective! Please consult
your dealer or a specialised workshop.
Operation
This device has been developed with special consideration of technical safety
standards. Nevertheless, the following instructions must be complied with to use the
device safely:
− The minimum clearance to the edge of the pond is 2 m for safety reasons.
− The device may only be used for suctioning deposits on the pond floor or as a wet
vacuum. The device may only be implemented for private use.
− Never vacuum up flammable or toxic liquids like gasoline, copy machine toner, or
other volatile substances.
− Never vacuum up acids.
− Never use in the presence of explosive liquids or fumes. The device is not explo-
sion protected.
− Never vacuum up asbestos or asbestos dust.
− Never vacuum up hot or smouldering ashes, smouldering cigarette butts, or simi-
lar objects.
− Never vacuum up dust, dirt, sand or similar things.
− Never make technical changes to the device.
− Only use original OASE replacement parts and OASE accessories for the Pondovac 2.
− Only have the device repaired at authorised customer service locations.
− Do not operate the device in the rain, or leave it standing in the rain.
− Under unfavourable mains conditions, this device may cause interfering voltage
fluctuations.
This device is intended for the connection to a power supply system with a maxi-
mum permissible system impedance ZMAX. of 0.17 Ohm at the interface point
(power service box) of the user's supply.

Placing in service

− Read and observe the safety instructions (chapter 4) before placing in service!
− The assembly diagrams are on the foldout page.
Assembly
1. Loosen the container release
collection tank.
2. Replace the motor casing and lock. The motor casing can only be locked in one
position.
3. Insert the hose end piece in the collection tank opening and lock by turning lightly
to the right
4. Insert the suction hose on the hose end piece
5. Attach the extension tubes (as required), insert the back flow flap (optional) and
the floor nozzle.
The backflow flap prevents the water already suctioned from flowing back into the
suction hose when the collection tank is emptied automatically.
6. Insert the open end (white dot) of the discharge hose into the rear discharge open-
ing (white dot) of the collection tank
