Setup
1. Set up the sludge vacuum near the pond.
− The minimum clearance to the edge of the pond is 2 m for safety reasons.
− The device should be set up at water level.
− Make sure the device is standing firmly.
2. Lay the discharge hose in such a manner that the sludge water is conducted into
shrubbery or to a grassy area during automatic draining. Lay the discharge hose
flat on the ground (if possible with a slight incline).
3. Fasten the sludge collection bag on the end of the discharge hose as needed (for
example when suctioning thread algae).
4. Connect the device to the mains power.
Operation
1. Insert one of the supplied nozzles (such as the thread algae nozzle) or set the
adjustable floor nozzle for your pond conditions.
• Nozzle completely open (10 mm): Pond liner, no pebbles on the floor, thick sludge
layer
• Nozzle closed (2 mm). Pond liner, pebbles as floor covering, thick sludge layer
2. Turn on the device using the main switch. The switch light is on.
3. Now place the floor nozzle on the pond floor. Vacuum up the sludge with slow and
even movements.
Tip: For preformed ponds and thin layers of sludge it helps to rotate the floor
nozzle 180° (blue side pointing down).
When the collection tank has reached its maximum liquid level, the float triggers a
control signal. The controller switches the suction operation off for the discharge
process. The blocking flap at the end of the discharge hose can open and the
sludge water runs out of the collection tank.
After 25 seconds, the controller automatically restarts suction operation.
4. You can then continue with the cleaning of the pond.
5. After using the Pondovac 2, switch it off using the main switch. The switch will no
longer be illuminated.
Operation as wet vacuum
1. Insert the sealing plug instead of the discharge hose.
2. Select a suitable nozzle.
Attention! Never vacuum up dust or dirt! The filter
