When measuring low resistance, to ensure accuracy,
make a short circuit between the test probes and
read the resistance value of the short circuit. This
resistance value should be subtracted after measuring
the resistance to be tested.
•
When there is no input (for example, open circuit),
the display will show "OL", which means that the
measured value is out of range.
Clamp head measurement display (AC current)
1.
Rotate function selection switch to the clamp head
converter (AC current) position.
2.
Connect the black test probe to the COM input jack and
the red probe to the V input jack.
3.
Select the different range of the clamp head converter
to be AC30A / AC400 A / AC1500A. (for compatible
FACOM clamps)
4.
Press the «FUNC» key to select the corresponding
measurement range.
5.
Reading the measured current value and the
frequency value of the clamp head converter from the
LCD display.
Clamp head measurement display (DC current)
1.
Rotate function selection switch to the clamp head
converter (DC current) position.
Connect the black test probe to the COM input jack and
2.
the red probe to the V input jack.
3.
Select the different range of the clamp head converter
to be DC30A / DC400 A / DC1500A. (for compatible
FACOM clamps)
4.
Press the FUNC key to select the corresponding
measurement range.
5.
Reading the measured current value of the clamp
head converter from the LCD display.
