Safety
− When inserting batteries, ensure that the polarity is correct
(positive [+] and negative[–]).
− Never expose batteries to excessive heat, for example,
direct sunlight or fire. Do not throw batteries in an open fire.
− Never disassemble the batteries, do not short circuit them
and do not recharge batteries that are not rechargeable.
− Remove empty batteries from the sewing machine.
WARNING!
Health hazard!
If children swallow batteries, the batteries could leak and re-
sult in poisoning and death. Touching damaged batteries may
result in injury.
− Store both new and used batteries so that they are out of
the reach of children.
− If you suspect that a battery has been swallowed or
otherwise incorporated, promptly consult a physician.
− Take hold of leaky batteries using gloves only and dispose
of them properly.

− Do not sew clothing directly on your body or another
