Charger Features

Charging Instructions
1. Insert 2 or 4pcs GP NiMH Batteries into GP PowerBank USB charger according to the battery polarity. Avoid
reverse charging.
2. Connect the end of micro USB charging cable to GP ReCyko
cable to the USB port of an operating computer* / a standard USB port / a compatible device adaptor. LED
indicator lights on when charging starts. For best results recharge with GP ReCyko
* Regarding the capacity of power supply by the computer, read its instruction manual to avoid potential damage to computer. Connection
to other USB ports of computer by various devices concurrently may not be recommended during battery charging as the required power
supply from computer may exceed its capacity. Charging time may vary when standby mode of the computer is on during charging. In
case of abnormalities, disconnect the charger from the computer.
3. When charging completes, LED indicator remains light on. Disconnect GP ReCyko
and remove batteries from the charger.
4. Performance may vary by computer USB port output power. For best results, use GP USB power adaptor.

Importance
1. It is normal for batteries to become hot during charging and they will gradually cool down to room temperature
after fully charged.
2. Remove batteries from the electrical device if the device is not going to be used for a long time.
3. Battery storage temperature: -20 ~ 35°C
Charger operation temperature: 0 ~ 45°C
4. Charging time may vary based on different battery capacities. (Refer to the Charging Time Table)
Caution
1. To reduce the risk of injury, it is recommended that GP Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are used.
2. Do not use non-rechargeable batteries.
3. Do not use the charger in humid conditions.
4. Do not use the charger if it has a damaged plug.
5. Do not use the charger after it has been dropped or damaged.
6. Do not open/disassemble the charger.
7. Unplug the charger before maintenance or cleaning.
8. Do not use the charger in direct sunlight.
9. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
10. Children should not play with the appliance.
11. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be made by children without supervision.
For charging conventional GP NiMH rechargeable batteries
For brand new batteries, 2 to 3 times of charging and usage cycles are required to optimize the batteries' performance.
For charging new generation NiMH rechargeable batteries (GP ReCyko + batteries)

1. GP ReCyko
batteries are pre-charged. No need to recharge prior to first use. Please recharge if the batteries
cannot power up your devices.

2. GP ReCyko
batteries come with good capacity retention. Remove the batteries and unplug the charger once
the charging is complete. Do not leave batteries in the charger for extended periods. Always unplug the
charger when it is not in use.
