Do not attempt to take apart, open, service, or modify the product or its accessories. Doing so could present the risk of electric shock or other
hazard. Heed all warnings and follow all instructions.
WARNING: Handling and site prep
To reduce the risk of injury due to the size (43 x 65 x 20 inches or 109 x 165 x 51 cm.) and weight (~ 150 lb. or 68 kg. ) of the packaged device, and the
importance of keeping the device upright:
• Use the Site Readiness Guide to make sure the 55" Surface Hub and its shipping container will fit into the elevators, hallways, doorways, etc. on
the way to the place where it will be unpacked and mounted. You can find a copy of the Site Readiness Guide at
http://www.microsoft.com/surface/support/surface-hub.
• Prepare the mounting system before unpacking the Surface Hub.
• Always have at least two people for unpacking and installation.
• Always have one person securing 55" Surface Hub upright throughout the unpacking process.
• Keep the assembly area clear of packing materials. Remove materials after each step.
• Once the Surface Hub is unpacked, mount it immediately.
If you're mounting the Surface Hub onto a rolling stand, lock or block the wheels of the stand before unpacking.

Before you begin

Be sure to:
• Prepare the mounting solution before unpacking the Surface Hub.
• Unpack the Surface Hub in the same room where it will be mounted.
• Allow Surface Hub to come to room temperature for at least 6 hours before unpacking when moving the package in
from a cold environment.
• Keep the Surface Hub upright at all times.

Tools required

You'll need scissors for cutting away the silver, anti-static packing bag.
Use care with all tools when unpacking to avoid cutting or damaging the Surface Hub screen.
