1. Safety

The HIGHTEMP oven has the suitable measures for its use in
laboratories. However, the user must be informed of some of the risks.

1.1 Hazards to which the operator is exposed

It identifies risky situation and the safety measures to be taken.
Electrical shock risk
There's a risk of electrical accident. Please respect the indicated
instructions to carry out the described operation.
Burn risk due to contact with high temperature
surfaces
Temperature in the heater surface could exceed 70ºC. Please use the
specified tools to perform the described operation.

1.2 Staff qualification

This equipment must only be operated by staff suitable qualified to
know the hazards to which the operator is exposed in a laboratory and
who have read and understood this manual or have been qualified on
this equipment operation.

1.3 Proper use of the equipment

This equipment is for laboratory use.
The improper use of this unit (by not following the manual's
instructions) can endanger the protection guaranteed for the
eq ui pment.
This equipment is NOT designed to work in explosive environments
areas except the ones foreseen in this manual.

1.4 Modifications

The modification of the operation or the manipulation of the safety
systems unauthorized by the manufacturer, could expose the operator
to hazards not indicated in this manual.

2. Warranty

This product is guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase.
The warranty does not cover damages caused by an incorrect use of
the equipment or causes beyond J.P.SELECTA, s.a.
Any manipulation by staff not authorised by J.P. SELECTA, s.a.
automatically cancels the warranty.
