Operating the tool
Possible risk of injury by unin-
tentional actuation
A tool that is operational can be
turned on accidentally.
► Safely shut down the tool
before performing any of the
following tasks:
– Putting down the tool dur-
ing any interruption of work
– Cleaning the tool
– Transporting the tool or put-
ting it into storage.
Possible risk of hand injury
Hand injuries can occur due to the
closing movement of the device.
► Never reach between the
moving parts of the tool head,
unless the tool has been safely
shut down.
The electric power tool is not suit-
able for continuous operation
A short pause is advisable after
15 minutes of use.
4.1 Shutting down the tool safely
► Press the start/stop button and hold it until
the cutting head is completely closed.
► Remove the battery.
Only by following these steps you can shut
down the tool safely and avoid turning it on ac-
cidentally.

4.2 Cutting
Before you start cutting: Make sure
the loose wire ends will be caught
after the cut so that they will not
cause any injury.
► Insert the battery.
Both the operation/service LED and the supply
voltage LED light up green for 2 seconds.
► Always use the hand strap during operation.
