IMPORTANT
• While running the procedure you can quit programming at any time by simply allowing more than 30 seconds to elapse since the last key stroke.
• To reprogram the Venetian mode positions, run the entire procedure again from scratch; there is no need to cancel the old setting. The new positions will overwrite
the old ones.
C.2 - Using Venetian mode – For a shutter with hook and slats which all tilt together
Note: • The following commands can be sent using a radio transmitter or the wall-mounted controller connected to the motor's bus line. • To identify the cited posi-
tions, refer to the figure in par. C.1.
• Enabling Venetian mode
Hold down t (or s) for 3 seconds: the motor will move the shutter's hook into the position at which the slats are partly open (= position "D" as set in par. C.1).
• Adjusting the slat angle (Venetian mode)
Use key s (or t) to adjust the tilt of the slats as desired. The tilt angle can be set between the fully open ("C") and fully closed ("E") positions, as set in par. C.1.
Note – Each time you press the key, the motor will complete a small movement.
• Disabling Venetian mode
Hold down key s (or t) for more than 6 seconds: the motor will move the shutter in the corresponding direction until the hook is outside the mechanism.
D - Programming Venetian mode – for a shutter with tilting slats which open one after the other
D.1 - Programming the slat positions used in Venetian mode operation
Description of programmed positions
"1"
DOWN limit: position at which the shutter automatically stops when lowered (= shutter completely unrolled). Refer to par. B.2 for information on program-
"1"
ming this position.
"A"
Position at which the shutter is at limit "1", with all slats open.
"B"
Position at which the shutter is at limit "1" with a set number of adjacent slats open (= partly open).
• To run the procedure, at least one transmitter and two limit positions (UP "0" and DOWN "1") must already be memorized.
• If your shutter has a slat tilt mechanism different from that described in this table, contact the manufacturer or Nice Technical Service.
• The Venetian function programmed with the following procedure starts at the DOWN limit "1" programmed previously.
• If you later modify the DOWN limit position "1", the system will automatically delete all Venetian mode settings (if previously programmed). You must then pro-
gram them all anew. This does not apply to modifications of the UP limit position "0".
01. Press key t to start the shutter closing and wait for the motor to stop with the shutter at the DOWN limit "1".
02. Keep the n key held down and wait for the motor to complete 2 movements. Now release the key.
03. Hold down n again, and wait for the motor to complete 4 movements. Now release the key.
04. Hold down keys t and n together, and wait for the motor to complete 2 movements. Now release the keys.
(from now on, the motor will only make very small movements)
05. Press key t (or s) repeatedly to open all the slats (position "A"). Now hold down the n key and wait for the motor to complete 2 movements. Then release the
key (= position memorized).
06. Press key s (or t) repeatedly to close a the desired number of slats (position "B"). Now hold down the n key and wait for the motor to complete 1 movement.
Then release the key (= position memorized). This partly open position will be recalled whenever you activate Venetian mode.
07. The procedure is now terminated and the shutter is in Venetian mode. To quit this mode, hold down key s (or t) for 6 seconds.
