Engine driven appliances: beware of sharp

away from the moving parts when using,
cleaning or servicing the appliance.

APPLICATION
The Keep Warm Tray is perfect for when you've
cooked hot meals, snacks, soup and sauces. Warm up
your plates as it heats up them un-plug the cord and
take to the table where it will continue to keep your
food warm while your dining

USE
The Keep Warm Tray takes just 12 minutes to heat
up to 120°C and stays warm for 1 hour after being
unplugged. The power cord can be easily detached
so that the tray can be conveniently placed on your
table.
Place the Keep Warm Tray on a level, sturdy and
dry surface.
Ensure the Keep Warm Tray is switched OFF at
the power switch before connecting the power
cord. Then plug into the mains socket and turn on.
Switch the power switch to ON and the red
indicator light will illuminate.
After 12 minutes the red indicator light will go
off and the green indicator light will illuminate to
indicate the temperature has been reached.
When you switch on the Keep Warm Tray for
the first time there may be a slight burning
smell. This is normal for a new product and will
disappear after a few uses.
If you are not ready to use the Keep Warm Tray
you can leave it plugged in for up to 2 hours and
the thermostat will maintain the temperature.
When you are ready to use the Keep Warm
Tray, switch off at the power switch and also the
mains socket and unplug. Detach the power cord
and if necessary, move to your table using the
cool-touch handles on either end, wearing oven
gloves.
WARNING
Do not touch any part of the metal Keep Warm Tray;
always use the cool-touch handles and wear oven
gloves for protection.
After unplugging the Keep Warm Tray it will
release heat for a full hour, gradually cooling down.
If you would prefer to keep the Keep Warm Tray
plugged in during use, DO NOT exceed 2 hours
during any 6 hour period. The Keep Warm Tray
has a thermostat to maintain the temperature
at 120°C and prevent overheating. When the
temperature has dropped the red indicator
light will illuminate for a short period till
reaches 120°C then the green indicator light will
illuminate again.
Place the appliance away from the edge of your
worktop or table and ensure the power cord can
not be tripped over.
Place your food on the hearing plate in suitable
heatproof dishes. Take care not to scrape dishes
across the surface of the heating plate as they
may scratch the brushed stainless steel top. Take
extra care with porcelain and ceramics.
After use, allow the appliance to cool down
completely before carrying, cleaning or storing
away.
HITS AND TIPS
For best results, use piping-hot food and pre-
warmed dishes.
Choose dishes that are HEATPROOF, with flat
bases to ensure maximum contact with the
heating plate.
Deep scales dishes are best avoided as they may
encourage loss of heat.
Covering the dishes will help to keep food
warmer for longer.
If in any doubt about the temperature of food,
please check with a kitchen thermometer.
Once dishes are empty, remove them from the
heating plate.
CLEANING AND MAINTENACE
Before cleaning the Keep Warm Tray, ensure it
is switched off and the power cord is unplugged
from the mains socket. Always allow the Keep
Warm Tray to cool completely before cleaning or
storing away.
Clean thoroughly before using for the first time
and after every use.
Check the parts for wear or damage after every
few uses.
Wipe the surface with a clean, damp cloth and
dry thoroughly before storing.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or
scourers as they will damage the surface.
