4 Electrical connection of miniature valves
Each valve coil is assigned to a soldering socket in order
that the valves can be controlled. A valve position always
occupies one address. Unused valve positions, e.g. spare
positions, also occupy one address.
Caution
The components can be damaged if you touch the con-
tact surfaces of the plug connectors and if you do not
observe the handling specifications for electrostatically
sensitive components.
Controlling the valves
Control the valves in a uniform manner. Preferably all
control signals should be positive-switching (1-switching),
otherwise all control signals negative-switching
(0-switching). Mixed mode actuation is not permissible.
Address assignment of the valves
– Address allocation in ascending order without gaps
– A valve position always occupies one address
– Counting mode beginning from left to right (position of
the manifold block: soldering sockets are behind the
valves)
