Mras fit system: If your helmet is
-
fitted with an MRAS fit system, you
can adjust the height by changing
the position of the connection with
the helmet. To do this, simply push
or pull the main part of the fit sys-
tem with the wheel to reach the bot-
tom or top position.
Halo fit system: If your helmet is
-
fitted with a HALO fit system, you
can easily adjust the height when
the helmet is on your head If your
helmet does not fit your head com-
fortably when in the middle posi-
tion, then push the rear of the fit
system up or pull it down to adjust
the height of the rear of the fit sys-
tem. There are 3 positions in total.
Please make sure that each arm of
the Fit System is securely clicked
into the helmet.
ADJUSTING THE CHIN STRAP
The helmet is secured to your head with the chin strap; it also keeps your helmet in the
proper position should you fall. Fasten the buckle and tighten the chin strap by pulling
on the loose end of the strap until the helmet fits snugly on your head. How tight, you
ask? It should be tight enough so that you can still chew an energy bar and swallow it.
Make sure you thread the loose end of the strap back up through the rubber O-ring.
ADDITIONAL ADJUSTMENTS OF THE STRAPS AT YOUR EARS (FOR MODELS
WITH Y CHIN STRAP)
The strap guide should be positioned so that it fits just under your earlobes. To do this,
push the strap guide up or down until you find the proper position. If you are satisfied
with these adjustments, put the helmet on and try to pull the helmet off your head
from the back and the front. A helmet that fits properly should be comfortable without
sliding forwards or backwards.
If you are not able to adjust your chosen helmet accordingly, THEN DO NOT USE THE
HELMET - replace it with a different size helmet or a different model.
Note : Please always remember to make sure your helmet (or your child's helmet) is
properly adjusted each time before you ski or snowboard. If you have any questions,
please contact your SCOTT dealer. SCOTT SPORTS shall not accept any complaints
arising from the use of an incorrect fitted helmet.
