The SCOTT COULOIR 2 helmet complies with the provisions and safety requirements
of Directive 89/686/EEC on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE Category II).
According to standard EN 1077 : 2007 the peak acceleration of this helmet for each
impact measured in laboratory test conditions does not exceed 250 g .
According to standard EN 12492 : 2012 the force transmitted to the headform for each
impact areas (top, front, side, rear) measured in laboratory test conditions does not
exceed 10kN.
All homologated helmets are labeled with corresponding seals indicating they have
passed the official tests. They are affixed in plain sight and may not be removed.
