IV. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
When transporting or storing keep your helmet in the soft bag supplied in the retail
box. Let your helmet air dry after each use and then store it in a cool dry place.
Plastic shells can melt at high temperatures (above 40°C). For this reason, do not leave
your helmet in the car or near direct or indirect sources of heat or warmth.
V. CLEANING AND CARE
How to keep your helmet like new? We recommend you clean your helmet with a
mild detergent and water only. Do not apply hydrocarbons, cleaning liquids, solvents,
paints, adhesives, self-adhesive labels or other external influences which may damage
your helmet and possibly rob it of its protective properties – even if you cannot directly
see the damage externally.
LINING
You can easily remove the inner lining by hand and wash it by hand using a mild soap.
Never machine-wash the lining pieces at high temperatures.
For cleaning, maintenance or disinfection, use only substances that have no ad-
verse effect on the helmet and are not known to be likely to have any adverse effect
upon the wearer.
