4.8. Setting of gas flow using the gas saver GS40F:
Set the gas flow by means of adjusting screw of the pressure regulator - for details - see an instruction for
use for the pressure regulators. Gas saver GS40F is preset by the manufacturer to 20 l/min and is not further
adjusted by the operator.
4.9. Setting of gas flow using the gas saver GS40A:
Connect the pressure regulator according its instruction for use. Fully open the shut-off valve of the flowmeter
(2) and keep it fully open for entire time operation. Set the required flow by means of the adjusting screw (4)
and read the value indicated by the flowmeter of the pressure regulator (1B).

6.
OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
6.1. Protect the gas saver from damage (check visually at regulator intervals).
6.2. Ensure that gaskets, sealing surfaces and gauges are in good condition and free from marks.
6.3. If malfunction of the regulator (such as increasing outlet pressure at consumption= 0, leaking, defective
gauges or responding safety valve) is suspected put the gas saver out of operation and close the cylinder
valve immediately.
Do not under any circumstances undertake, or allow any repairs by unauthorised personnel.
7.
REPAIRS
7.1. Repairs of the gas saver shall be carried out by competent personnel at an authorised Service or Repair
Workshop. Only genuine spares may be used.
7.2. Repairs or modifications carried out by the user or a non-authorised third party will entail loss of liability.
8.
WARRANTY
The Standard Warranty period is two years from date of receipt by the Customer (or if this is not known 2
years from time of the product manufacture shown on the product). The standard warranty is only valid for
products handled according to Instruction for use (IFU) and general industry good practice and standards.
