GENERAL   S AFETY   I NFORMATION  
 
When   u sing   e lectrical   a ppliances,   b asic   p recautions   s hould   a lways   b e   f ollowed     t o   r educe   t he   r isk   o f   f ire,

3. Use  this  Fan  only  as  described  in  this  manual.Any  other  use  not  recommended  by  the  manufacturer  may  
cause   f ire,electrical   s hock,or   i njury   t o   p ersons.  
4. To   r educe   t he   r isk   o f   p ersonal   i njury   a nd   e lectric   s hock,the   F an   s hould   n ot   b e   p layed   w ith   o r   p laced   w here  
small   c hildren   c an   r each   i t.  
5. Unplug   p ower   c ord   b efore   i nstalling,   s ervicing,   o r   m oving   t he   F an.

8. Plug  Fan  directly  in  to  a  220-­‐240  V-­‐50Hz  electrical  wall  outlet.Where  pos-­‐sible,avoid  the  use  of  extension  
cords.  I  minimize  the  risk  of  overheating  by  ensuring  that  they  are  UL  listed.  Never  use  a  single  extension  
cord   t o   o perate   m ore   t han   o ne   F an.  
9. Do  not  oprate  any  Fan  with  a  damaged  cord  or  plug  or  after  the  Fan  malfunctions,  has  been  dropped  or  
damaged   i n   a ny   m anner.   R eturn   F an   t o   a uthorized   s ervice   f acility   f or   e xamination,   e lectrical   o r   m echanical  
adjustment   o r   r epair.  
10. Do   n ot   i nsert   o r   a llow   f ingers   o r   f oreign   o bjects   t o   e nter   a ny   v entilation   o r   e xhaust   o pening   a s   i t   m ay   c ause  
an   e lectric   s hock   o f   f ire,or   d amage   t he   F an.Do   n ot   b lock   o r   t amper   w ith   t he   F an   i n   a ny   m anner   w hile   i t   i s   i n  
operation.  
11. Always   place   the   Fan   on   a   stable,   flat,   level   surface   when   operating,   to   avoid   the   chance   of   the   Fan  
overturning.   Locate   the   Power   Cord   so   the   Fan   or   other   objects   are   not   resting   on   it.   Do   not   run   Power  
Cord  under  carpeting.  Do  not  cover  Power  Cord  with  throw  rugs,  runners,or  the  like.  Arrange  Power  Cord  
away   f rom   r oom   t raffic   a nd   w here   i t   w ill   n ot   b e   t ripped   o ver.  
12. This   Fan   is   not   intended   for   use   in   wet   or   damp   locations.   Never   locate   a   Fan   where   it   may   fall   into   a  
bathtub   o r   o ther   w ater   c ontainer.  
13. Do   n ot   u se   F an   o utdoors.  
14. If   the   supply   cord   is   damaged   it   must   be   repaired   by   its   manufacturer,   its   Service   Agent   or   a   similarly  
qualified   p erson   i n   o rder   t o   a void   a   h azard.  
15.Power   p lug   m ust   b e   r emoved   f orm   t he   p ower   s ocket   b efore   c leaning,servicing,   m aintenance   a nd   m oving  
from   o ne   l ocation   t o   a nother.
