COURTESY LIGHT CIRCUIT BREAKER
A contact for exterior use is available, protected by a 4A-250V fuse.
The contact is short-circuited on the terminals during the travel of the gate and for 2 more min. as from the stop.
PNEUMATIC STOP
Accessory: the pneumatic stop is a safety device which opens an N.C. circuit breaker if the pneumatic tube is
squeezed. The pneumatic stop can emulate the programmed action of photocell (A) or of Stop button (B).
A) Connect the N.C. circuit breaker of the pressure switch to terminals 18-19.
If a photocell is fitted, connect in series.
B) Connect the N.C. circuit breaker of the pressure switch in series with the Stop button to terminals 7-8.
# Pneumatic stop with RXBT transceiver :
Fit the PVC tube of the pneumatic stop to the brass fitting on the transmitter.
Power the receiver from terminals 14-15 and connect the corresponding N.C. circuit breaker to terminals 18-19,
or in series with the stop button to terminals 7-8. Check: LEDs LUX and STP must be lit in either case.
RADIO RECEIVER
Accessory.
Gate control card for use in conjunction with radio transmitters.
Insert electronic card RX1 in connector J2. Follow the instructions provided.
Remove the cap from the ANT socket and fit the antenna.
The use of an RX2 radio card (two-channel) makes it possible to operate pedestrian opening via radio as well.
When greater capacities are required, use an RS1 or RS2 external radio receiver.
REVERSER
Accessory: connect the corresponding wire to the J3 connector marked REVERSER.
Set dip-switch 6 to ON to activate the device.
The device intervenes during both opening and closing when the gate strikes an obstacle; it is stopped and,
when the photocell is free, it starts motion again in the opposite direction for 2".
CHECK: the REV LED should flash when the reverser disk is slowly turned.
TEST MODE
When this mode is set, a function control is carried out on the controller (microprocessor and related inputs/outputs).
Procedure:
Set dip-switches 1 and 2 to OFF and press the RESET key.
Check:
All the Status LEDs should flash except for those related to the N.C. contacts, which remain lit.
You should hear the 4 relays activated in sequence and the LGT lights up.
Test :
Use the TM1 and TM2 trimmers to vary, respectively, the duration of the switch-on and off of the LEDs and
the frequency of activation-disactivation of the various relays.
This behaviour indicates that the microprocessor is operating correctly.
MANUAL MODE
In manual mode, hold down the start button to operate the gate. Also keeping Start pressed down, at the travel limit the motor stops in any
case. Release and press again to continue in the opposite direction.
If activated, the Reverser intervenes during both opening and closing by stopping the motor. The interruption of the photocell causes a stop
during both the opening and closing phases, independently of the position of dip-switch 5.
Dip-switch 3 and the WORK trimmer have no effect, while dip-switches 4 and 7 remain operative.
SEMI-AUTOMATIC MODE
In semi-automatic mode, press and release the start button to open or close the gate. All the dip-switches remain operative.
AUTOMATIC MODE
The gate is operated by means of impulses on the Start contact that controls the related phase of the operating cycle (opening or closing).
When FCA is reached, the count begins for the pause time set on the PAUSE TRIMMER, followed by automatic locking.
PEDESTRIAN OPENING
The gate is operated by impulse on the Pedestrian Start contact ( N.O. contact to terminals 8-43 ) or by a radio control that drives the second
channel of the RX2 receiver connected to the special J2 connector.
The pedestrian cycle is composed of an opening of 8" and a pause time set at 10", at the end of which the gate is automatically closed. The
programme is autonomous and acts only starting from the position of the closing travel stop (FCC).
To start motion again after a cycle stop situation, a start command must be given.
The photocell only intervenes in closing, according to the behaviour set with dip-switch 5.
