It is recommended to check weights for wear every 5000 km; weights
need replacing when their diameter reaches 24.5 mm (Fig. 2).
Bush:
Check bush for wear every 15000 km; replace it with one from Top
Performances if worn or damaged.
Grease:
Replace the grease inside the bush every 15000 km; it is recommended
to use the grease specified in the manufacturer's use and maintenance
manual. Thoroughly clean the bush and remove the grease inside
the pulley; pay utmost attention when reassembling the bush to avoid
damaging the oil seals.
Shims:
The supplied shims ensure that the overall Variotop ratio is kept to the
optimum value in time. Belt wear reduces converter overall ratio and,
