8.2 SETTING screen
Icons meaning:

8.2.1 Set time and date
Press on the time/date icon. Press successively on the box to select the day,
month, year, minute and second adjustment.
Adjust by pressing on the icons Increase and Decrease.
8.2.2 Set parameters of temperature control, «Au-
totunning», Probe type & Ramp units
For an optimal use of the equipment, P, I, D parameters of temperature control
should be the appropriate values.
With a value of the appropriate P, I, D parameters, the equipment will reach
the temperature in the shortest possible time and without exceeding the set
temperature. However, those values can be quite different at high and low
temperatures.
The equipment comes with some generic values which are appropriate for
most jobs.
These values can be modified, but it's advisable to perform an «Autotunning»
when you need a better accuracy.
The «Autotunning» automatically adjusts the optimal parameters for a given
temperature and load.
Press on the PID/Autotunning icon. Press successively on the box to select the
P, I, D values adjustment and modify the value by pressing on the Increase
and Decrease icons.
Attention: It is not recommended to change these parameters. Manually use
the «Autotunning» option to automatically adjust these values.
Press on the PID/Autotunning icon.
Select the «Autotunning» temperature with:
(for example, the temperature most used)
Start «Autotunning» by pressing on the icon:
If for some reason you want to stop, press on:
Note: keep in mind that the «Autotunning» process is long because the equi-
pment needs to perform several startup/stop processes to obtain the new
PID values.
The «Autotunning» function has two variants: 40 and 100. The 40 variant is
faster but less accurate and the 100 variant is slower but more accurate.
