Operation
The alarm system activates automatically when the vehicle's doors are locked with the standard remote control; this
GB
is indicated by two short beeps of the siren and the direction indicators flash a few times. It is deactivated when you
use the standard remote control to unlock the doors, this is indicated by a short beep of the siren and the direction
indicators flash a few times.
If a siren alarm cycle occurred while you were away, it will be indicated when you deactivate it; what's more, the siren
– besides the usual signal – will give another signal with a different tone. If you want to know what caused the siren
alarm, follow the instructions in the "alarm memory" chapter. If you wish to activate the alarm while you are inside
the camper it would be necessary to disable the volumetric protection with the remote control supplied. Follow the
instructions given in the "disabling the volumetric protection" chapter.
If the standard remote control malfunctions and you have to unlock the vehicle with a mechanical key, the system
activates the visual/audio alarm when the door is opened; to stop the alarm proceed as explained in the "emergency"
chapter. During the first 25 seconds after the alarm has been activated, all break-in events are indicated by one flash
of the indicator lights. After 25 seconds the system goes to the warning state and a full visual/audio alarm is trigge-
red in response to any security breach event.
When the system is on the alarm controls:
- opening of the doors with the standard door buttons.
- opening of windows and/or storage boxes. (if any)
- the movements of a body inside the driver or passenger compartment with ultrasonic sensors (can be disabled)
- cutting the vehicle's power by means of a battery built into the siren.
- an attempt to start the vehicle by means of a connection on the instrument panel ignition.
