If there is a fault or the standard remote control batteries are flat, you can still get inside the vehicle with the mecha-
nical key.
The door opening system will generate a visual/audio alarm.
To stop it you have to turn the instrument panel on for a few seconds so the chip transponder in the vehicle's original
key can be recognised.
The siren will give a short beep when the alarm has been deactivated.
To restore the system to its normal operating condition, simply lock and unlock the doors with the vehicle's standard
remote control. The alarm activates with the second locking, as described in the "Operation" chapter.
If the LED flashes after the alarm has been deactivated it means
one or more siren alarms were triggered in your absence. Refer
to the table on the opposite side to find the cause.
The alarm repeats this indication every 6 seconds, until the
vehicle's instrument panel is switched ON using its mecha-
nical key or until the alarm is reactivated.
