3. To enter or change the area code, press
OPTION. The display shows the current
area code stored, or - - - if blank. The digit
will flash, indicating the unit is ready to
accept an entry.
4. Press the " "button to choose 0–9 for
the first digit.
5. When the desired digit is flashing, press
the " " button to advance to the next
digit.
6. Repeat steps four and five until all the
digits for your area code are entered. If
you make a mistake, return to step one
and repeat the process until the area
code is set.
7. Press OPTION again to store the area
code and return to the LOCAL AREA
CODE display.
NOTE: You can store up to 6 regional area
codes.
